48 Hours a Day
Zhang Heng’s eccentric materialistic parents left him to work abroad in the care of his grandfather, and Zhang Heng learned to adapt and not let life’s oddities and challenges limit him. But he soon learns startling truths about the world he thought he knew, and one day at midnight, frozen in time, he finds himself in a world so silent and deafening. That night he finds himself with 24 more hours than anyone else marks the beginning of his adventure. When a strange old man claims to have given Zhang Heng this “gift of the times” and enlists the young man to play a mysterious “life-changing” game on his behalf, the mystery surrounding his newfound abilities only deepens. Zhang Heng didn’t know that accepting these conditions meant being entangled in multiple versions of reality and exposing himself to the world’s unknown secrets. This was a decision he could not reverse.
